1. Agreement and app license
By downloading or using Health Handoff, or by using this website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use them. The app license is also subject to Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement, unless the App Store presents a different EULA. Apple's EULA controls where it governs the licensed app and conflicts with this supplemental draft.
2. What Health Handoff provides
Health Handoff is an iPhone utility for reading selected HealthKit data, preparing daily or multi-day summaries, reviewing trends and data quality, and creating user-initiated copies or exports. Availability can depend on the iPhone, iOS, HealthKit, recorded data, permissions, and App Store services.
The app is designed for wellness context and personal data portability. It is not intended or offered as a clinician, emergency service, diagnostic tool, treatment recommendation, or substitute for professional medical advice. It does not diagnose or treat any condition. Do not delay or change medical care based on an app summary. Contact an appropriate professional or emergency service when needed.
3. HealthKit and your responsibility
You decide which HealthKit categories to make readable. Health data can be missing, delayed, stale, incomplete, entered incorrectly, or unavailable to the app. HealthKit does not reveal whether an individual read permission was denied, so “No visible data” is not proof of either denial or absence and must not be treated as zero.
Review important information in its original source and use your own judgment before relying on, copying, or sharing a summary. You are responsible for the destination and recipient you choose.
4. Lifetime Unlock
Lifetime Unlock is an optional one-time non-consumable in-app purchase, not a subscription. The App Store displays the localized price, taxes, and purchase terms before confirmation. Apple processes purchases and ties the entitlement to the purchasing Apple Account.

- Family Sharing applies only where Apple makes it available and the App Store product, account, and region are eligible.
- Refund requests and billing disputes are handled by Apple under its policies, including through reportaproblem.apple.com.
- StoreKit availability, verification, revocation, or account changes can affect access to paid features.
5. Exports and third-party destinations
You retain rights in your health data and generated exports, subject to rights that others may have. Health Handoff does not provide cloud storage, backup, or destination security. Clipboard contents, temporary files, shared copies, backups, and recipient systems may persist independently of the app.
Do not share information you lack the right to share. Obtain appropriate consent before exporting another person's information, and follow applicable law, workplace rules, and professional duties.
6. Acceptable use
You may not:
- use the app, website, or an export to violate law or another person's rights;
- interfere with security, availability, or normal operation;
- copy, redistribute, sell, or reverse engineer protected software except where applicable law expressly allows it;
- misrepresent a Health Handoff summary as medical advice, a diagnosis, an official health record, or professional certification; or
- use the product to make unsafe automated decisions about another person.
7. Apple and third-party services
Health Handoff is independently developed and is not sponsored or endorsed by Apple. Apple Health, HealthKit, Apple Watch, App Store, StoreKit, iOS, the system share sheet, email providers, and export destinations are operated or controlled by third parties. Their availability, terms, privacy practices, and decisions are outside our control.
8. Availability, warranties, and liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Health Handoff and this website are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties not expressly required by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, complete or accurate health data, preservation of clipboard or export files, or fitness for a medical or professional purpose.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the developer is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss, disclosure, or misinterpretation of data, arising from use of the app or website. Nothing here excludes a right or liability that cannot legally be excluded. Apple's Standard EULA contains additional warranty, support, and liability terms for the licensed app.
